    Etnia Barcelona differentiates itself in the industry through the use of color, capturing a blend of vibrant colors found throughout Spain and the Mediterranean.   The result is both fun and rebellious styling that merges tradition with modernity.

    Working with legendary artists and photographers, Etnia Barcelona incorporates their use of color to develop new collections of eyewear.  

    Origins
    Etnia Barcelona was founded by David Pellicer  started in 2001.  Yet the inspiration for the company dates back to the 1950's when David's grandfather, Fulgencio Ramo opened a sunglass factory in Spain. At 17, David began working at the factory, acquiring valuable knowledge.

    Materials
    Non-metallic frames are made from natural acetate blocks, produced in Italy. Unlike injection molded frames, acetate is surprisingly made from cotton and therefore 100% natural and malleable.
